Question:

Why do they use tiny sandbags in floods?

Why has no one ever used bigger sandbags in places where there are floods like Pakistan? Surely they would be more water tight

Answer:

Wax paper or non-stick alumin would probaly workGood luck on those cupcakes!
Squares of parchment paperThey fold to peaks in the muffin tin, and give a great look to quickbreads.
Use tin foil! I use it all the timeI cut it into the right sizes and spray it with cooking spray and it works fineSometimes i will also just use the cupcake pan and make them regular ( with just cooking spray) and if i want them to look pretty - I'll take wax paper (after they cool) and wrap it around them and then tie a ribbon around it or use little candy dots and attach to wax paper with a little chocolate so they have a cupcake AND little dots to eat or decorate how they want toI have even been known to use tin foil to cook them in and then add little construction paper cut outs to the frontPossibilities are endless!! :) hope this helps- good luck!! P.SYou can even cut the top of the tin foil so it looks like confetti at the topIts cute!
Have you ever lifted a sand bag? A nice big sand bag might make more sense to hold water back, but you'd need a crane to put them in place To give you an idea of how much dirt weighs, if you rent a u-haul truck they tell you more than 6 inches of dirt in the back is over loading the truck.
