Question:

Why do witches fly on Broomsticks?

Why not Mops or Vacuum Cleaners? Where did the tradition come from?

Answer:

Demons carry the witches. Demons lift the objects, not super powers. You don't have these super powers if Orthodox Christian icons and crosses are present (especially in your hand or around your neck). Most thoughts and dreams are from demons; demons never do good. These super heroes represent antichrist's kingdom. Spiderman is similar to a 666ed person who crawls on walls; 666ed people will go to permanent hell. Superman is similar to antichrist who flies. Billy from Saw movie is similar to antichrist who has pale face, red eyes, and wears gloves to hide long nails. Psychics are shown pictures and given thoughts by demons. Super powers are a sign of demon possession. Duncan Macleod from Highlander cuts the immortals' heads off to kill them. That's what an angel will do to 666ed people at the end of Apocalypse. Vyacheslav Krasheninnikov said that Buddhists worship fake mountain Kailash inside which demons have a UFO base.
Coz broomstickz are much cheaper plus more portable more over they weren't invented at that time lol.
Flying potion is made from the fat of an unbaptised athiest child. Witches don't need broomsticks or any other floor cleaning device to fly although the GPS navigation in an iRobot vacuum might come in handy. The whole broomstick thing thing was meant to be sexually derogative as broom sticks are a reference to a wooden phallic.
ancient myths in which people would straddle a broom to determine the height crops should grow for the coming harvest, is but **ONE** theory. Naturally mops and vacuums didn't exist during those times.
That question could forward to J.K. Rowling.
