Question:

Why does it say on CHILDRENS tylenol not to operate heavy machinery?

nan

Answer:

On occasion childrens tylenol can be recommended for adults too. Its for liability purposes.
Well, Duh, it's the adults that are reading the box, not the children..and adults drive. Sometimes Adults get sick and end up taking kids medications, and then possibly may have to drive to put the kids in daycare or school before they drive themselves to the doctor. This is warning for those instances when parents take kids medications.
Childrens tylenol is another way of saying a weaker dose of tylenol. No different than childrens aspirin that people take to maintain thin blood for heart conditions. No where does it say on the bottle that it is only for children (more suited for those with child like minds)
Har, har. Probably because the FDA still requires that warning, or because we live in a litigious society, and it is entirely conceivable that an adult might take some children's tylenol, get in a car accident, and then try to sue the pharmaceutical company that sells the drug.
A hot wheels car IS heavy machinery to them. LOL. We will never know.
