why does light attract moths and mosquitoes?
Moths navigate by moon light, at least they did before humans came along and started attracting them with fires and then electric lights. Mosquitoes are more attracted by CO2 (the gas that all animals exhale).
Imagine you're outside and it is completely dark and you can't see. You see a light. What would you do?
