Question:

Why does my 19 LCD monitor go fuzzy at 1440 x 900?

I just bought a new monitor (second hand) and it's a 19 widescreen monitor. At 1240 x 1024 everything is fine but everything seems kinda squished vertically. I moved the resolution to 1440 x 900 and it worked fine for about a day, nice clear, crisp and in proportion screen but then it just started going fuzzy like it was getting static and everything started to jitter about. Why and is there anyway to stop this? I'd like to be able to use 1440 x 900 as using it at 1240 x 1024 is stretched odd.

Answer:

LCD panels have a default resolution, so you need to set your video card to the base resolution of the monitor. You will probably have to do some research to find the correct resolution, It will be in the book if you have it, and if not you can try searching for the model number which should be on the back of the monitor.
because you sux. and that is what you get for going with a cheap off brand to save a couple of bucks.
