I just installed a car alarm in my Chevrolet Impala. I think it might have something to do with the drivers door since the dashboard light doesn‘t light up when its open. Let me know what i have to replace uld it be a sensor or the door latch?
Turn off radio and acc turn off engine, start the engine using the key 2 seconds later press and hold the valet swith and wait untill the led turn on and the parking lights flash, let go the button, turn off the engine and close the door now try to use the remote start using the remote good luck
Because you have a car alarm. The only thing they do is make noise. Also, it is unnerving and disturbing how easily cqar theives can defeat most any alarm or antitheft. Cadillac Escalade is most stolen SUV in country due to carjackings and people leaving the spare key in the car. OnStar does not help stop the theft of a car. By the time it gets turned on, its ripped out anyway. They know exactly where everything is. Get a gun, it will work better. 2nd amendment in effect. :)
