how do you bleed air from a boiler system?

how do you bleed air from a boiler system?

Answer:

very very very carefully. (different for diffrent systems)
get someone whos know what there doing
every one of your radiators should have a bleeder valve on it, make sure the circulating pump is not running when you bleed it, sometimes you will have to do this several times, every day for about 2 or 3 days.
right , you go round with the key to every radiator and turn the key and water will come out, do it to everyone of them and the air will come out, but just do it very carefully and make sure that you have a cloth and bucket with you. so when you bleed them the water you collect from them you can wring it out in. do not let it go on for too long, ok! and you only bleed them every 6 -9 months.
Boiler systems should have an automatic bleed valve at the high point in the piping. It may be called the air eliminator. Turn on your make-up supply and fill the system. Make sure your bladder tank has the proper charge and it should take care of itself..
