Question:

Why does my furnace pilot constantly go out in the winter time?

I live in an old mobile home. I have a gas furnace and the pilot goes out every night in the middle of the night but only during winter season. We do use our furnace year round in the mornings and evenings but year after year it is only during the winter time that we start having the issue with the pilot going out nightly. I replaced the filters. I have a hard time wrapping my head around the issue since it seems to be seasonally initiated. Any advice? Thanks Community.

Seeing a qualified doctor is your best bet; mean while get a list of books they may provide, for you to do self reading at home, (keeping questions list, for when you do go for counseling.)
Need to take it in and let the mechanic plug into the computer and see what codes are in there. I have had problems with faulty oil sensors and temp sensors.
