i have a kitten that is around 2 1/2 months old and he sucks on blankets like he is eating from him motherhe purrs really loud and does it several times a dayjust wondered if this is normal, and will he stop eventually?
Drink more waterMany times our bodies can mistake thirst for hunger which it seems like your body is doing right nowAfter that meal you should no longer be hungry but you could be a little dehydratedDrink two glasses of water and allow your body to absorb it and then follow it with two moreIf you are still starving after that then I would suggest you make a leafy green salad with a protein and chow down.
The best answer I can give you is either A) keep eating fruits and vegetables or B) just don't eat (I don't mean period, I just mean until the next meal time)It sucks at first, but if you reduce the amount you eat every day for a few weeks, eventually your body will catch on and you will no longer feel hungry except at meal times.
That's not a lot! LOL I can eat rings around you! What you ate will not make you fat! Have whatever you like! you will NOT Gain Weight! Eat a salad, put chicken on it, veggies, olive oil and vinegar.you need 3500 calories to gain a pound, you aren't even close.
Eat when you're hungry, stop when you're notIf you really listen to what your body is telling you, you'll be able to lose weightIf you're really hungry, have a glass of water and a saladIf your body think that you're starving it, it's going to be more likely to hold onto as many calories as it canYou may not lose weight immediately, but you will eventually.
Its not normal, and it may stop eventuallySucking on blankets (etc) is a sign of insecurity because the kitten was taken away to early (they may have been old enough in age, but not mentally old enough) from its mother.my mums cat used to do it (he was 9 weeks when she adopted him) a lot when he was a kitten, but now as an adult he only does it on really cold mornings :)
