Question:

Why does my smoke alarm go off when I run the dishwasher or clothes washer?

It never happened before this year. The dryer is near the smoke alarm, same floor, so I figured the heat sensor was involved. But today I started the dishwasher downstairs from the smoke alarm and it goes off. I have to turn on the attic fan to be able to run the dishwasher and dryer probably now too. I'm going to talk to my local firehouse tomorrow, but I wanted to know if anyone has had this happen, any advice? Do I need new alarms? Or is there something dangerous going on? Thanks for any ideas or shared experiences!

Answer:

yers that is a reasonable speed for home users, therte are many people that can only get 1 or maybe 2 mbps. and your upload is good, the average for download is about 5 or 6 mbps so yes you do not have a bad speed at all
Piezo can generate an electrical pulse to count bumps and make enough of a spark to start fuel gas on fire, but the power amount is tiny.
Try putting a rubber kitchen rubber glove on and rub over the afftected area this should loosen the hair from the lounge to enable you to then vacuum the rest.
