We moved here 9 months ago and had hot water from the coal fire but after the summer when we began using the open fire again we have no hot water. The immersion heater works and gives hot water but the fire does not. Any ideas?
maybe you have a valve stuck, like a heat exchanger,is there anyway of checking at the rear of fire?, feel the pipes to see if they get warm,maybe you have an air lock somewhere
