WHY DOES RUTILE FORM OCCLUSIONS IN RUTILATED QUARTZ?

Answer:

Why would you select a quartz heater. No matter whether it is a quartz or wire coil heater, it will put out exactly as much heat as any heater with the same output rating, and consume the same energy. I saw a quartz heater for about $39 on Shopzilla. The difference in your satisfaction will be in how the heater or heaters distribute. Of course one wants them to have fans. I have a solar system large enough to supply all my electrical energy. I heat the house with two 1.500 watt resistance heaters, the electric oven (sometimes), and frequent fires in the fireplace insert.
Does the promotional litearture keep you warm? Try burning it, that might produce some heat. $300 is too much, you need that money to pay your heating bill. Anyway, I seriously doubt quartz is any more efficient than a cheap space-heater. They're both 100% efficient at converting electricity into heat. To improve on that you need a heat pump. Those are just an air-conditioners that are turned around, so that instead of pumping heat out in the summer, they pump heat inward in the winter. To use one you need a source of heat that is above 40-50 deg.F, such as well water. You can als: dress more warmly turn up the thermostat get another space heater add insulation to your house
If you'r talking a residental room, you're pretty much limited to 1500 watts. More than that you'll trip a breaker. It doesn't matter what you're using, all the heat is transferred into the room, the only difference is how much heats the air, and how much heats objects by radiation. A bunch of ordinary light bulbs would be the cheapest, the light and heat is as efficient as you'll get.
