Question:

Why doesn't a pipe get alot of resin when you first start using it?

Serious answers only. Yeah.. I've been smoking bowls out of this small piece I just recently bought.. And I noticed with my other pieces that I've used, resin builds up fast when it already has resin on it.So, what makes my resin stick to the glass on the pipe? And why does it take longer at first when the piece is just started being used? The subject being smoked: H4e2r0b :)

Answer:

The electric field will release its energy at the nearest possible point. The electric rod provides that opportunity and lightening strikes the grounded rod located fairly high up and not someone or something else that is closer to the ground.
We used a water type fire extinguisher to use as a Paint-thrower in a paintball game once. We just mixed up a batch of tempura paint and charged it up. Hope this helps.
