Just out of curiosity, why does the Black Macbooks look matte looking (the exterior)? And the white ones are shiny; it's the only reason why i choose the white Mac, but it's starting to get dirty, and I hate cleaning it!!! I love my white mac, its pretty, and shiny, but I originally wanted the black macbook.Does anyone know why this is?
It would cost too much money. Breaking even would take a long time because weather is very unpredictable. I don't think there's anywhere in the world that consistently has thunderstorms every couple of weeks. Sorry for putting you down. It's not a bad idea.
it's a fire-prevention outlet, first of it's kind. Really great safety outlet that will prevent any electrical fire from happening. Pretty interesting also, you should at least check it out. Hope this is helpful.
Get an extinguisher that has an A,B, and C rating.
NB* Don't skip the caveats of potential safety hazards of disconnecting a hard-wired smoke detector. But if you insist on taking a risky route then: 1. Turn of the power at your mains (This will turn off all electrical power to your home) 2. Read the instructions to remove the cover (often these will be moulded onto the plastic base) 3. Once removed read the label details as these might provide further instructions 4. Use a screw driver to detach the wires attached to the alarm. This will disable the alarm and stop the chirping. BUT 5. You need to climb up a manhole into the roof-space and tie off/terminate these wires at their source, and not leave them lying in the roof. (Normally a qualified electrician's job) 6. You will need to do some plaster work to fill in the hole you have once the smoke detector base plate is removed from ceiling.
Standard 5 or 10 pound class ABC would be fine. if you are feeling really paranoid also get a small 5 pound Class K for your kitchen. With a 5 pounder you will have 12-15 seconds of use, a 10 pounder gets you about 17-21 seconds. for such a small area I would stick with a 5 pounder, and either get it serviced yearly or chuck it and get a new one, the dry chem has a habit of caking up after a year or so and then all you get is compressed CO2. I wish ore people had the presence of mind to have a working extinguisher in the home would make my job alot easier.
