I have the SAME problem!! I'm black and white too and relaxers still don't straighten my hairBlow dryers make it worse, and the only thing that tames my hair is a good ceramic/Tourmaline flat iron (lilke a Sedu or Chi) and a good frizz serumMake sure you shampoo with a moisturizing shampoo and a good conditioner like Neutrogena's Deep Recovery Mask, or if you are ready to shell out some cash, then a good conditioner from MizaniThen after you let your conditioner sit for about a half hour, rinse it out and wrap your hair up in a towel for about an hour, or until it is about 80% dryBlow dry it straight lol, or atleast till it is dryThen put your hair in four sections, and rub a good amount of frizz serum with thermal protection (Like The one from John Frieda) and straighten 2 inch section from those four sectionsIt takes about an hour, but it is well worth itMixed hair is so difficult!! But its very pretty when done correctly ]
