Question:

Why dont cars have device like handbrake whereby car cd. be lifted by bars lowered to ground from body edge?

Having to jack up a car on the roadside may be a rare incident but it‘s one you don‘t want to happen EVER cuz of jack inefficiency, strength needed, the dirt other messiness, etc

Answer:

I suppose that's an ok idea, but I personally think it is too impractical. The amount of engineering that would have to go into it, and having to find the room, would just be pointless for little payoff. You would need a place for the bear to retract into, and for a bar that would be long enough to travel the distance tot he ground, and then lift the vehicle up to a proper height to remove a tire, it's housing would have to protrude directly into the cabin, and no one would want that. Even if it could be managed, the price of the cars would be so high that the only people who could afford them would be the ones that never had to bother changing a tire themselves. If you're too worried about getting dirt, to weak to operate a jack, or don't know where to place on at under the vehicle, personally I don't think you should be allowed behind the wheel of a car. There are certain things that any driver should be well aware of how to do, and have no problem doing, if he or she chooses to take on the responsibility of operating a motor vehicle.
Too costly, it wouldn't sell. It would add 5000 to 7000 dollars to the price of the vehicle. If you still want a car like that, you should go into Formula 1 race car driving:)
Racing cars have a pedestal jack at each corner. Watch a race and pay attention to the pit stops.
