Farmers lack style and imagination. All they care about is profit. Why are there none who develope implements that are nice looking and truly distinctive? Don't they feel embarrassed riding such hideous looking contraptions?
The design of farm machinary is defined by its purpose, not its form or how fashionable it looks. Farmers don't require style and imagination in their machinery, they require reliability and durability. Are farmers suppose to give away for free the fruits of their labor? Those 'hideous contraptions help produce the food you eat. No food you die.. Next time you see a farmer on a tractor ask if if he is embarassed by it.
I was a farmer, not now. I tried for many such things long ago in the past but my father didn't allow me due to some facts and circumstances around where we were. I don't know about other places, but may be reasons like wise.
I think the world survives on the products they produce and the service they provide. It is very stereotypical of your kind to question the manner in which it is provided. You need to think about the intelligence level of your question and consider why the world considers you inferior.
Farming isn't about consumerism or style like the corporate world is. It is about making an honest living doing what you can. I am not a farmer but even I know that was one of the more pointless questions. Please don't be offended just try to see my point.
