Answer:

8 years ago? wowThere are a couple things i can think of to checkfirst off, make sure there is no dust blocking the radiatorPull the fan off it to check it out, even though you say the water coming out of it is cool there might be some blocked finsIf you do find dust in there, you can try to vacuum it out in the reverse direction of the airflowNext, what are you running for coolant? some of the coolant dyes degrade over time and get all glupmy thereby restricting flow through the actual water blockyou might have to flush the system with distilled water (once again in reverse flow direction, you might also have to run some vinegar through the system to help clean it outdo your waterblocks have see through plates on them? if not can you take them apart to clean with like an old toothbrush or somthing to that effect? and lastley TIMyour thermal paste might have degraded to the point where it doesnt transfer heat like it should, easy fixrepasteMy favorite thermal paste is IC Diamond 7 caret, its got excellent thermal properties and a cure time of only 10 minutesOCZ freeze is supposed to be pretty decent as is MX ceramic
hey, this could be a movie!
