Question:

Why is my Kenmore dryer heating but not spinning?

Why is my Kenmore dryer heating but not spinning? It appears as though everything is fine with the beltIm not sure if its maybe the motorWhen i turn it on it doesnt make any noiseAlso if it is the motor, any clue as to how much it would cost for a new motorKenmore 300 series

Answer:

Play with them moreTo me they sound bored, and a bored dog will usually destroy thingsAlso make a barrier around what you don't want destroyed, like put up a fence in front of your crawl space so they can't go in there to tear out the insulation You can put rocks in their holes, so they aren't able to dig in them any more But ultimately just play with them more.
Sounds like they are bored and trying to occupy themselves with naughty thingsBest thing to do is more structured exerciseTake them for a run, cycle with them or take them for a swim (weather permitting ;))Tired dogs are happy dogs and then they will have no energy to get up to mischief.
Exercise them, give them proper interactive toys and if needed crate or tie them upYour dogs are boredAnd this sometimes can be separation anxietyHowever it's likely you just have bored destructive dogs.
if your kenmore dryer is heating and not spinning , it has a broken belt, whirlpool [kenmore] does not have a belt switch so motor will run with broken belt ,and one side of power to heating element runs through motor,-will not heat unless motor running- if it is heating when motor is not running the heating element is shorted to ground,- needs new heating element , and possible thermal fuse, there are two thermals, white ceramic thermal on blower housing and thermal disc on heater box.
