I have a 17 LCD monitor.I played MW2 but I see trails of very fast visuals.When there is fast action on the screen I can see wierd effects,which I believe is called 'The Ghosting Effect'.
The monitor can only display what the graphics card outputs. As the refresh rate of most modern LCD monitors is 60 Hz, it is unlikely to be a problem with the monitor. Most likely it is the performance (or lack of it) of the graphics card.
