I usually carry my sandwich to work and I find it dry in an hour, I really have to struggle to eat itHere is how I prepeare it, toast (lightly) whole meal bread, apply peanut butter, wrap it in aluminum foil .Is there anything wrong I'm doing?
Don't toast it and if that doesn't work change the brand of bread you use
From Uprisings The Whole Grain Bakers Book pg 80 makes 3 lbs Group A 12 c oats 1/2 c sesame seeds 1 c wheat germ 1 c coconut 1 c sunflower seeds 2 T cinnamon Group B 1 c honey 2 c applesauce 2 t vanilla 2 c safflower oil Combine ingredients from group A and mix wellIn separate bowl blend ingredients from group B Mix wet dry ingredients and stir thoroughly Spread on cookie sheet(s) and bake at 200 degrees for 2 hrsThis makes a big batch but is easy to cut recipe in half!! Enjoy.
