Question:

Why is the economizer a ballast, not a power lamp?

Why is the economizer a ballast, not a power lamp?

Answer:

Please note that the lamp holder of energy-saving lamps, lamp shell, typically accounts for a certain volume, the inside of the circuit board structure is actually a ballast, the energy-saving lamp is impossible not to need to ballast.
The lamp in the picture has a ballast, but the shape and installation are different. Energy-saving lamps are mostly one, fluorescent lamp ballast.
According to the figure shown in a lamp as a result of the design style determines its need to install separate ballast and graph 2 just nested installation, energy-saving lamps are actually to install the ballast, just a way of design of different installation ballast is different also, my home is decorated with the frugal brand energy-saving lamp tube is also installed the ballast, but they are an organic whole. Relative to and independent of the ballast embedded more save electricity, because the independent type of ballast is equivalent to 6 to 7 w electrical appliances, the actual power consumption is equal to the energy-saving lamp power + ballast power. The built-in ones don't use the same principles.
