People shouldn't have plastic surgery because: 1. Surgery does not cure insecurity. If a girl gets rhinoplasty, she may temporarily feel good, but sooner or later she is going to found other problems with her looks. Even the most naturally pretty people have insecurities, so having surgery isn't going to make that problem go away. 2. Surgery is not cheap. Paying that much money for beauty says a lot about that person. It says that person is most obviously insecure and quite vain. 3. There are health risks involved with surgery. Enough said. I understand why a person with an extreme deformity might partake in plastic surgery. I also understand why a person may consider breast reduction. I am even sympathetic towards transgendered people who want surgery. But I find it disturbing to have plastic surgery just because a person feels their nose is a little too wide, or their breasts a tad too small, etc. Part of life is accepting how you were created. We all strengths and weakness, and likewise we each have what society calls not-so-perfect body parts. Instead of hating ourselves because we aren't perfect, we should make the most with what we've got.
