bamboo sheets are great.egyption cotton is soft and washes well.good quality 100% cotton is great.jersey knit is ok but does not wear for as long as cotton.flannel is soft but many find too hot in summer (great for winter though).rayon or satin is cold to jump into and then hot and sticky because these are not natural fibres and they do not breathe like the others (cottons/cotton mixes) and pillows and other blankets tend to slip off from satin or rayon materials.overall, the choice is yours.you need to decide what you like to sleep on and many times it is just trial and error.
