yesterday I installed homebrew channel on my 4.3U wii with the method that uses super smash bros brawl and the channel works great...how do you install the wii back up channel (or wii backup launcher/ neogamma r7 quot;sorry I don't really know the exact title for the channelquot;) ALSO - please do not ask me to downgrade because it may risk my wii or install USB loader since I cannot afford a high memory USB device)I have seen a few videos on youtube where the dude had a wii backup loader in his channel running on version 4.3UI had homebrew channel and backup launcher but when I ran metriod other m it asked to update game..when it was done my wii went from 4.0U to 4.3U..I got back the homebrew channel with the method mention earlier I just need a wii backup channel/neogamma r7 on 4.3U thanks
You will need to have an sd card 2 gigs or under, on the root of the card you will need two different files one called apps and the other called wads. Find the neoggamma app and move into the apps folder on your sd card, move the sd card into your wii and load the homebrew channel you should see geogamma loader. Wads are for making the neogamma into its on channel so you don;t need to go through homebrew all the time. For that you will need a wad manager and the neogamma wad file. by the way you do not need to buy the an expensive usb device to use the usb launcher I have an 8 gb memory stick and load games that way. It would be a lot cheaper then continuing buying blank dvds, which by the way involves more time since you do need to burn a disk. Good luck
How new is that Wii? If it's newer than 2008, the drive physically cannot read backup media, even if hard-modded.
