I'm buying a Echo1 ATS full ( Long ) spring powered air soft shotgun and i'm wondering if a standard 6 mm bb speed loader that says it can load mags will work on this gun. In the specs for the gun it says the recommend bb size is 6 mm. But it says it uses mags. Will it work?
A speed loader is used to load magazines. The shotgun uses a magazine. Your speedloader will fill the magazine quicker than you can by hand, then the magazine, when inserted into the shotgun, will feed into the shotgun. You have to use 6mm BB's, there's no recommend to it. .20's are heavier, though.
The Speed loader and the Mag should both be horizontal, and you have to put your thumb over the little attachment that clips on to the part where the bbs go in. Then you just push the bbs in. If you don't hold the little part with your thumb, then the speed loader will detach itself from the mag.
