if you use large needles you can make a tweed with 2 strands knitting worsted yarn or 3 strands sport weight yarnyou can just make horizontal stripesthis can be done on straight needles with a simple stitch like garter stitch, stockinette stitch, or k2p2 ribbingfancy stuff like cables take away from the great team colors!
