I just got a Dell D505 Laptop off of OKorder but it needs a hard drive so will any laptop Hard Drive I buy fit it?
Yes, as long as its 2.5 size, also will need to know if the drive is SATA or IDE and you should check with a computer store or Dell as to largest GB size recommended. All you need is the model number and serial number, you will also need to install the operating system from recovery Cd's or buy a new system. If you want Vista go to Dell and make sure the lap top model is compatible. You would be wise to also have at least 2 GB of ram for Vista. I would reinstall Windows XP or XP pro. Hope this helps
Yes as long as its 2.5 inch your laptop atm isnt a solid state drive. Not sure if your laptop hard-drive is SATA or IDE, look at the specs of your laptop it should tell you.
