Will downloading Windows Vista onto my 2006 Gateway Laptop running on XP make it run faster or slower? If anyone knows FOR SURE, let me know! Thanks!
It will preform slower if upgraded to Vista, which is why it's recommended that you upgrade your computer as well. Vista uses more resources to run, regardless of the features you turn off. It's simply written into the kernal code.
