My leopard gecko looks lonely in his cage and i was thinking about getting him a friend, another gecko. Would it be okay if i did? I know Geckos are solitary animals but i want another gecko but i only have room for one cage so i was wondering if i could put them in the same cage.
What size tank do you have? if you have a 20+gallon that is fine. 10 its too little... oh and if you have a male, dont get another male because they can get very aggresive and kill one another. if you have a female you can get another female or get a male. i really hope this helps...(make sure you have lots of room for both!) -TFG
yea you can have a lot of them in the cage just make sure that there isnt two boy ones in thesame cage together might get bad
1 make sure you are ready to take care of 2 leopard geckos 2 make sure the cage is big enough for 2 adult leopard geckos 20 gallon cage is fine 3 Some geckos don't want or like to share there home every gecko is different. if this happens they will fight and you should remove one of them ASAP Good Luck!!!
He's not lonely. Probably bored. Add branches. Get excavator clay substrate so he can dig a little. If you get a 20 long you can put three comfortably. Make sure you don't have 2 males. Although its known for some males to get along, don't take a chance. The choices are 2 females and 1 male, or all females.
