Question:

Will Mod Podge work for ceramic trivets?

My friends and I made some ceramic trivets yesterday. We took regular ceramic tiles, let the kids paint them, or did a hand or foot print. Our intention is to give them to Grandmothers for Christmas. Last night I put 1 coat of mod podge and planned on doing a 2nd coat today. As I look at it, I‘m wondering if a hot pan is going to melt the mod podge. I thought it was a sealer, but not sure. It say waterbase sealer, glue and finish. Is my idea going to work, or did I ruin it by using the wrong sealer?

Answer:

I would think that if you can put a brush to it it will work out fine for you. Jenn
