My friends Wii recently stop reading disks, so they asked me to get them Brawl on a USB loader. Will the Wii load up their saved data from there Brawl disk, or will they have to start all over? please answer soon. I need to get back to kicking they butts in Brawl. =)
Save games are stored on the Wii's NAND flash memory. They aren't saved on the DVD. USB Loaders work by tricking the Wii into thinking the file on the HD is a DVD. After loading from the DVD it will still load the save game from the Wii, just like normal.

If the Wii has a USB port, then yes, it should work, all a save file is, is data.
