will petrolium oil lubricate my longboard bearings?

im trying to lubircate my bearings. and all i have is some gear oil, or petrolium oil. will this work to lube my bearings?

Answer:

Your skateboard should have sealed bearings that you never oil. If the bearings are bad replace them, they are cheap.
