Question:

wky is magnisium not found naturally?

im in class so can u answer asap

Answer:

Magnesium does not exist in a pure state in nature but is generally found in one of the following forms: Dolomite, Magnesite, Brucite, Periclase, Carnallite, Kiersite. In addition, it is found as a silicate in asbestos and talc. It is widely distributed. One of the most common elements in earth's crust by 2.1% by weight. Found naturally only in form of its compound in magnesite, carnallite, dolomite, epsomite, kieserite and other minerals. Can be found in sea water, in animal and vegetable kingdom. First obtained in metallic form by Davy in 1808 by electrolysis of magnesia and HGO.
It is found naturally but not in pure form. This is because magnesium is highly reactive and oxidises very quickly. Magnesium containing minerals are common in the earth's crust.
