working as attic insulation installer?

Hi im working as a attic insulation installer and with the good weather we are having well had, the attics get very hot and I was wonder if anyone would know what heat degree are you allowed under health and safety regulations to work in.I am asking this as I was working in an attic a few days ago and I thought I got heat stroke,i also ended up with sores on my eyelids.I did ring my employer to tell them the temperature outside which was 30 degrees but I was told to finish the job.Thanks

Even if you could get it to work, it would soon freeze up and quit coolingEither put a fan in the open window or have the a/c unit set to let outside air in and turn the fan-only on.

I don't know what kind of AC you have but most work from a thermostat and can be operated when a certain temperature is reachedIn the winter time, I doubt it will come on unless you can override the thermostat settingAs someone already mentioned, just open the window and you won't have to worry about the AC.
