Question:

Working principle of one-way needle roller bearings

I use the NSK rcb061014 one-way needle roller bearings, I ask you, what is its working principle, how to achieve locking?

Answer:

The main structure of the unidirectional bearing EG unidirectional roller bearing EG-- | stamping outer ring needle roller clutch (one-way bearing) can be used as a converter, a non-return device, overrunning clutch. HF (needle roller clutch): composed of stamping outer ring and plastic cage. The cage can be provided with plastic spring or stainless steel leaf, guide roller, roller, roller and needle on outer ring as locking device. HFL (clutch and bearing assembly): support bearings are mounted on both sides of the needle clutch and bear radial loads. The needle bearings and plastic cage assemblies are used as supporting bearings
One way needle roller has a spring in the lower part of the needle
One way bearing is a type of bearing that can only be turned in one direction and locked in another direction. The metal shell of the one-way bearing, contains a lot of rollers (or needle ball), and the rolling block (acupoints) shape so that it can only roll in one direction, (because the installation direction of the rolling direction opposite spring, so spring is compressed). In another direction when the rolling direction and spring mounting same direction, not to cause the compression spring, up roller, roller to produce a lot of resistance in between the inner shell and outer shell (the so-called "one-way"), stop rolling bearing.
