Worth Changing guitar machine heads?

Have a gibson sg which doesn stay in tune too wellIt currently has those snot green tuning heads on it with gibson deluxce on the back of em (klusons i think theyre called?) but i was wondering if i changed them to gotoh, sperzel, shaller or gotoh locking tuners would it stay in tune better?

I think that I'd go back to the ROC and explain that you don't want these guys in your houseExplain that the opportunity to repair the roof sheathing was when the shingles were off, not after he's shingled over the holesThe areas with damaged wood need to have the shingles removed and the sheathing replaced from topsideDo not put up with his shenanigans.stand firm and take him to court if you have to.
The tuners aren't the only things keeping the guitar in tuneI'd just get a setup from a professional (maybe around $30-50) and then see if it still stays in tuneIf it doesn't, then I'd suggest getting maybe new tuners.
i wouldn't let him anywhere near the house,did you not get all this proof before you agreed to let him do the roof? you get what you pay for.i know your mad about it but if you didn't get anything in writing before he started,then its really your on faultalways do your homework before taking the test.about the only defense you have now is try to find an attythat will take your case and sue the hell out him,take out ads in the news paper and tell everybody what you got for the money,call yor t v station and see if they will do a story on it.
