I just currently purchased a 2012 Chevrolet Impala (6-Cylinder) with Dual-Exhausts. I had previously owned a 2004 Pontiac Vibe in which I had only installed a performance Muffler, it made it sound almost like a Rice Burner when it was cold, but once the Exhaust had a chance to warm up, it would actually bring it‘s full effect and sound deep, and throaty like intended, my guess is because of the fact the stock pipes were 2 1/2 Inches in Diameter, and the new muffler was 3 Inches in Diameter, correct me if I‘m wrong, please. To get to my question, I was wondering if I would have the same problem if I only installed the two new performance tuned mufflers, or if I should get a cat-back exhaust and do the full exhaust system? If I just get Mufflers, will it, at any point, rattle, or sound like a Rice Burner, or will it keep its throaty sound whether the engine (exhaust) is cold or warm? I just want to avoid any noise that makes it sound cheap.Thank you in advanced!
the ciggrete lighter is most probably a blown fuse , check your fuse box/.knocking noise in the airconditioning is tbecause that your car is out of fereon ! , try refilling it , and if it has a liqiud coolant , then tthas what ran out.
Dynomax Ultra-Flow Welded Mufflers produce a deep growl under acceleration. Nobody makes a full dual exhaust system for the 303 horsepower 3.6 DOHC engine in a 2012 Impala
It's time to lay down the old pipe my friend, for your own good.
