Question:

Would hitting a big bump at a high speed mess up a fuel pump?

Idk if it matters but I have a 96 Acura TL. I was driving on the interstate yesterday so I was obviously driving around 65-75 mph, and there was a big bump in the road that I didn't see in time to slow down. I heard my back bumper scrape when it happened, but it was driving fine after that. Then later that night I tried starting my car again and it didn't start. I tried jumping it off and it didn't work so it's not the battery. Then the next day I tried it again and it didn't start up again Then later that day I tried it and it started up fine. Could it be the fuel pump? And if so, do you think it was caused by hitting that bump on the road?

Answer:

I have found that I Can't Believe It's Not butter is the best thing to put on an aching virginia. Good luck!

This Site Might Help You. RE: Who installs car alarms? My truck was recently broken into. I have a lot of expensive stereo equipment, along with my laptop that I normally carry around in there. I have been looking around at some pretty hardcore aftermarket car alarm/remote start systems. Seems like they would be extremely complicated to install,
