I have strange hair. My hair is mostly thick, but thinner and finer at the top, and sort of curly/wavy. It‘s a poofy mess. It is like this because when I was younger, I used to dye my hair black a lot and straighten my hair every day. It‘s gotten a lot better now since I have stopped doing all that, but it‘s very hard to make it look nice. I want to get a waver, because I love wavy hair,! And I would love to make my hair look more polished. I have heard that gold plated hair styling tools are better for your hair because they cause less damage, but if you have thicker hair to get a ceramic/metal tool. Since I have a mix of different things, I don‘t know what to pick. Which would be best for me?Please and thank you. lt;3
Get ceramic !!! ceramic tools are perfect for thick hair and wont damage it as much as metal or gold plated. I only use ceramic on my hair because I have over straightened it. So now its in the healing process and when I do straighten it I use my ceramic flat iron.
