No, it's not enough to actually make anythingA small dishcloth would take twice that much yarnThey look like mostly novelty yarns which would not be appropriate for dishcloths eitherWhat I would recommend instead is getting her a gift certificate at her local yarn shopKnitters tend to be passionately opinionated about yarnFor example: I love natural fibers and hate acrylicI like certain colors and color combinationsAnd above all, I want to touch the yarn and see how it feels against my skin before I commit to itWith a gift certificate she can get exactly what she likes and make a project or projects she really enjoysSometimes a gift certificate is a loser gift from someone who didn't care enough to actually choose somethingFor the passionate knitter, the opposite is trueA gift certificate says the giver recognizes that knitting is an art and that selection of the materials and tools is as individual as the artistNow, if she's already a regular at the LYS, they may know herAt my local shop the manager knows her customers and can tell you exactly what to purchase as a gift for that customer from the fiber content and yarn weight right down to the color wayBut she still recommends gift certificates.
