The pipe is no longer conected to the other pipes under my sink.

Polyester resin is not a good long term coating/water proofing material, when used alone. There are adhesion issues when used over wood. especially a soft wood like pine.It wouldn't cost much more to use fiberglass cloth with the resin. In most fiberglass kits it's the resin that is the most expensive component. Over a soft wood like pine, Epoxy isn't much better.The other part of your question is puzzling. held together with strips of screws .I'm not sure what you are building, but conventional paints would be less expensive and produce a better finished job. The wood joints can be made several ways but you need to glue/seal/ bed them and support them. So you need a frame work to attach your boards to.
Did you hear the people? The majority of them were behind Dolph Ziggler. Fans don't care anymore about faces or heels, Del Rio is a face and Ziggler is a heel and they were behind Ziggler more. The Shield are heels but they get cheered. Cena's a huge face and he gets booed.
