Question:

iron on the moon?

I hear that meteors that hit the earth have lots of iron.and the ancient people used that iron first, when creating stuff. So the moon must have lots of hits.does it have lots of iron on it?

Answer:

I forget the specifics, but only a small fraction of meteoroids are iron. It is believed that most of the iron in the prototype Earth/Moon stayed with the Earth after the two bodies separated. That is why the Earth is about 66% more dense than the moon. The amount of iron the moon collects from meteor strikes would be a tiny fraction of what the Earth has in its interior.
Malkum has the easy and cheap job. However Steve and Alex repair will be the best looking. I would go with aether for a more professional repair. Good luck.
