Question:

Keyboard makes a Clicking soundwhy?

How do I turn off the sound on my keyboard, everytime I press a key it clicks??? so wierd, I didn't change any settings!!

Answer:

many situations your fan and your comp is over heating gets some workstation duster airspray and clean that shiz out if that doesnt help back up your workstation then take it in to the geek squad
with windows ten use the search to find sounds then click off beep in filter keys
I think you have sticky keys enabled. Click the left Shift key 5 times and a thing will come up. Look through the options or whatever and disable sticky keys.
First go to your Control PanelSounds and Audio devicesIn the tabs go to:Sounds In Program events: Underneath Windows you should see Asterisk Click it, Then, Near the bottom of the page you should see Sounds: then a bar, Click the bar Scroll to the top of the bar and click [None] Do the same thing with Default beep.
Is the keyboard a new one? I don't know if there has been a change in engineering of keyboards or not, but most keyboards (as did typewriters) do have some sort of sound associated with them. Think of it as being similar to a telephone when you punch the keys/enter the number, it beeps so you know you've not missed a digit. I am aware that there are some keyboards that are totally silent since I've earned my living on the keyboard for multiple decades now, the silence would totally creep / spook me out, lol.
