Question:

plymouth voyager transmission issue?

My 99 plymouth grand voyager makes static noise but when put in neutral the noise stops, the transmission was rebuilt 30,000 miles ago what could the noise be?

Answer:

If you mean static on the radio, then that has nothing to do with the transmission.
Please no name calling. And I don't want to hear who started it. The noise could be caused by low level of transmission fluid or the wrong type of transmission fluid was used and it is just now noticeable. Not all fluids are created equally.
That era of chrysler transmissions were plagued with problems. Any noise should be immediately checked out by a transmission shop, most will look at it no charge in hopes of getting the job. As far as transmission problems go, do not try to fix them as a novice. Save yourself so hassle and money and just get it checked out by someone who deals with the problems every day.
