Question:

My car's automatic door locks keep sporatically locking themselves whether the cars on or off..?

Does anybody know what type of electrical problem is causing this and know how to or who would fix this..?

Answer:

What kind of kar ?
electric motor is not working properly or battery is weak
I had a car once that the power window would go down by itself... it was the switch.. uld be your problem too
my mothers '92 Saturn does this,on those you have to pull the outer panels off to get at the electrical controls & such, rather a pain so i pulled the fuse, moisture is the culprit, it's just a long slow process to find it , pull and dry all the connections and slap di-electric grease on them when reassembling, that should help.
i own a repair shop, and this is a sign of the relay switch for the door locks going bad on it,it starts locking the doors by its self, sadly enough i had a nice car burn up over this it shorted out and caught fire, and before we could put it out it burned all the way up you might want to have it checked out real soon this can be dangerous ,believe me i know from experience good luck,i hope this help,s.
