Question about game discs.?

OK, well yesterday I was sifting through my games and I discovered that some of the cases were wet. About 4 of them were wet. This has happened once before, however this time it was not nearly as bad as it was last time. I tested all of the discs and they worked, quite a few of the discs weren‘t wet but the cases and manuals were. However what if this happens again and more of the discs get wet? Can they be ruined easily? I always thought that the discs could only really be ruined by scratches or smudges but now I‘m unsure and paranoid that all my games are gonna get ruined. Will my games survive?P.S. Also my GTA: San Andreas disc was a little wet but I dried it off and it worked fine.

Answer:

Yeah man water does nothing to it. If you're eager and really want to play at that momentbut your disc is wet just take a smooth cloth or your shirt and dry it off. But there's a special way to dry discs. Don't just go around in a big circle around the whole disc and dont do tiny circles all around as if you were waxing it. Simply start at the whole in the center and go straight out all he way. Continue all the way around till its dry. I hope you understood this complex answer ahaha i hope i helped
Water doesn't really affect the disc. Only scratches and smudges. Just wipe the disc clean with a cloth
My first thought is spark. Either wires or the plugs, cap rotor etc.
Discs are plastic with a thin cover of magnetic material. The only way water can ruin ur disks is if u leave them wet in a dark and closed place for a long time. They might get sorry-but-i-dont-know-its-name-its-that-. This can also be cleaned but its harder P.S.:im not a native english speaker :P
Have you checked your catalytic converter? Stopped up converters can have the same effect.
