I bought a copper antiquity which had been cleaned with muriatic acid. Could you please tell me what should I do and what to use to remove safely all traces of the acid so that it does not further damage the relic. Many thanks.

powder called bar keepers Friend,and believe it or not,gently rub tooth paste,on copper to remove muriatic acid
