Question:

what do you need for an exhaust system?

Ive just brought a De-cat pipe for my 106 Im also about to buy a Supersprint Exhaust backbox Is there anything else I need to buy to make this exhaust system complete or is that everything?

Answer:

To add to the EXCELLENT answer provided by the poster above me, I would only like to add that if it's equipped with the 2.0L SPI engine (eighth digit of VIN 'P'), the most common thing that sets that code, is a rotted PCV hose. They typically rot off at the back, where it connects to the throttle body, causing a vacuum leak that sets that lean P0171 code. You can purchase that part from any Ford parts department, as I'm sure they will have plenty in stock, since it is a fairly common issue with those Focuses, with that engine. Hope this helps.
get it tested/driving an 03 with 235000 miles so your about 1/2 way home on miles
For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/awnGd It is probably a sensor for gas emissions. Only your sealer can tell you for sure.
A K N air filter and some bigger jets . Possibly a new exhaust gasket.
