Crossover thrash > All the bullshit you just listed
Crossover thrash is just a combo of hardcore and thrash metal, vocals often shouted, but never screamed Grindcore and goregrind they have death metal style vocals, so the genres suck big time Groove Metal is rougher, vocals growled and stuff, but often with other elements, such as distinctive drumming Slamming death metal wtf is that Crossover thrash is the only decent thing there anyway, some groove metal is ok though
Grindcore is a bit hard to explain. Basically the name come from the fact that it was greatly influenced by hardcore punk and the grind (the intense speed and fuzzy sound) that the majority of grindcore bands have. Notable bands are; Napalm Death, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Brutal Truth, Extreme Noise Terror, and Pig Destroyer. Goregrind is a form of grindcore that deals with gory lyrics, it is different from brutal death metal in that they have slightly different sides and brutal death metal lyrics can deal with topics other than gore, while goregrind deals exclusively with that subject matter. Notable bands are; Carcass, Exhumed, The County Medical Examiners, Repulsion, and Regurgitate. Crossover thrash is a mix of hardcore punk and thrash metal, basically. Notable bands are; Agnostic Front, D.R.I, Municipal Waste, S.O.D, and Suicidal Tendencies. Groove metal is a form of post-thrash/neo-thrash that takes influences from hardcore punk and traditional metal . Bands often play mid tempo thrash riffs focusing on heaviness and groovy syncopation. Notable bands are; Exhorder, Pantera, Sepultura (Chaos A.D and later), White Zombie, and Machine Head. Slamming death metal is just another term for brutal death metal. Notable bands are; Cannibal Corpse, Decapitated, Braindrill, Necrophagist, and Suffocation.
